Our Team
Nathan is a writer, visual artist, and activist from Minnesota. He has a BFA in Film and Video from The University of the Arts and studied creative writing at Emerson College. His screenplays have been contest finalists (Screenplay Festival, Women-in-Horror Film Festival, Indie Visions Film Festival), and has been a reader for literary publications such as Philadelphia Magazine and Redivider. He reads an eclectic array of fiction and non-fiction, but particularly loves dark, mysterious, and fantastical stories. He’s a big supporter of works that feature queer points of view and new interpretations of classical tropes. His favorite novels are The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishigiro, and The Secret History by Donna Tartt. Nathan currently resides in the Twin Cities suburbs of Minnesota where he spends his time enjoying the cold weather and watching anime that makes him cry.

Recent favorites include Congratulations, The Best Is Over by R. Eric Thomas, The Husbands by Holly Gramazio, Dancing at the Pity Party by Tyler Feder, and True Biz by Sara Nović. She currently lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and their many annoying pets.
